Special Day!!!!!!

One of the happiest days of my life also happens to be the birth of my youngest daughter...when I tell the story of how that day went they can't believe it...it's funny..so here goes ....First, I had no idea that my water had broken ( Dr. broke water with 1st child) so I didn't know what to expect, let's just say I wasn't any smarter the second time around. I just thought that I was wetting the bed several times, so I got up & changed  my gown & then it hit me what was happening...I was never in any pain, just a back ache. Hubby was at Fire Dept. at the time so I called him. I think he thought he was going to have to delivered the baby cause he was home in record time..but I had not called the Dr.yet so he went into a panic mode....whats the hurry I said "we have time".. but I made the call...& Dr. said come in, I was only a day away from my due date...so I didn't have time to take a shower or wash my hair..so we woke oldest daughter up & out the door we went to my parents to drop daughter off but I decided to get out of car & go potty which made hubby nervous, any way he wasn't paying attention & fell down the hill rolling all the way down...you ought to hear how my mom tells the story..Finally we are at the hospital but no one told me you had to pre register so hubby took care of it..but I didn't see him again till I was going into delivery....what was he doing...well lets see...moving the car ,eating breakfast, calling everyone ,letting them know we would have a baby that afternoon. They were paging him & 30min.later he shows up as they are wheeling me into delivery..where are you going he asks...Mr.W. she's having the baby now..you see I had waited so long in taking my time getting to hospital they didn't have time to prep me..Well any way hubby's response was "you can't have the baby now", I already told everybody it would be this afternoon....Mr. W. this baby is coming now, are you coming into the delivery room?  HUH & he looks at me for a answer..At that point in time I could have cared less & waved  my hand in the air & said do what you want....a few mins later he shows up just in time to see our sweet  baby girl being born.  So on October 14,1979 I gave birth to the most beautiful baby ever that has grown into the most beautiful woman ever. There are a few details I left out (like not having a name for her) but she did get a name after 3 days & it fits her but I had nothing to do with her first name, hubby & mother-in-law picked it....thats another story,another time....
